Arlington Kitchen and Mudroom

Private Residence
Robert Umenhefer Photography

This Kitchen was transformed within the existing walls by opening the space to the Dining Room and rear gardens. The imperative was to capture and extend light and views. The workspace was reconfigured and a Half Bath that opened into the Kitchen was reoriented to the Rear Entry for a proper Mudroom. A new high efficiency pantry cabinet is flanked by standing workspace with views to the garden and great light.

The Half Bath a corner toilet and sink for space saving and visual interest. The herringbone pattern tile floor continues seamlessly into the Mudroom. A pocket door makes the space usable without sacrificing floor area.
